A preview of our Summer Solstice celebrations Sunday June 21, 2026 at Elsje Point (behind Maritime Museum)

Our annual community Summer Solstice celebrations will be held at beautiful Elsje Point behind the Maritime Museum in Kitsilano, our new location as of 2025. It's a lovely spot where we can dance and sing to our hearts' content as we dance the sun down on the longest day of the year.  Festivities will start at 7 PM and continue till the sun goes down at 9:21 PM (for those who can stay till the end).

Our friends, the Vancouver Morris Men (and many other friends-of-Morris) , will be there so we can celebrate together!

May Morning 2026 at Trimble Park

 On Friday May 1, as is our tradition, we will dance the sun up at Trimble Park in Point Grey starting at about 5:30 AM! Rain or shine, whatever day of the week May 1 falls on, we will be there along with our sibling Morris side, the Vancouver Morris Men, and with others who love this seasonal celebration. 

There will be dancing, singing, music, a May Monarch and Green Man, a Padstow 'Oss, a Hobby 'Oss, most likely a Maypole, tea, garlands of May flowers, and much festivity!

Trimble Park is at Trimble @ W8th in Point Grey near UBC. We will be in the basketball court.

Afterwards (from 7-9 AM), we will have breakfast and more singing in the lovely Turkish restaurant, Simit Bakery Café at 2268 W4th Avenue @ Vine/ Yew. They are opening specially for us, and want to welcome us back next year too. Every year it's so difficult to get up and into kit in the dark at 4:15 AM -- and then it's absolutely wonderful to be waking up with the world with all our Morris friends once we're all together looking over the ocean! Always well worth it.
